Which Red Sea resort has a good house reef without major low-tide problems?

For long swims without an apparent shallow-water limitation, a different Faraana property in Nabq is recommended: the water is described as exceptionally clear, and one guest reports staying in the sea for up to two hours at a time.

Tip for choosing a bay: in Sharm el-Sheikh avoid the Nabq zone — look for wind-sheltered bays. In Hurghada, it's better to avoid the northern part of town.

Naama Bay area is suggested as an option — Meritim Jolie Ville or Novotel hotels, though the sea there can also be fairly murky.

The Titanic resort chain is decent — good food and beach, but the sea recedes significantly at low tide. You either need to time your swim around the tide or walk about 100 meters out during low tide to reach the water. Otherwise everything is great.

Another guest reports the sea entry is smooth with no big waves and calm water. Access to the sea is via a pier, so the usual low-tide walking issue is barely noticed. The house reef is nearby with plenty of small fish close to shore.

Rixos Radamis Beach Side has a reef on par with Alkazar and a new water park, but the sea access still has the same low-tide issue.

A traveler currently staying there reports: the reef is beautiful, but the shore has low tides. Food is good, and animation/entertainment is rated 4 out of 5.

For scuba divers there isn't much to see at this particular resort, aside from just logging dives if you're Open Water certified. Ras Umm El Sid bay is much more interesting for shore snorkeling.

The Thistlegorm wreck is still in good condition — better to dive there than settle for the resort's house reef.
