Amarina Abu Soma Resort review: food, sea, and entertainment

Travelers arriving in late June were asking for up-to-date reviews on the sea, food, and entertainment at the resort, but no live responses were shared for that period.

Before arrival, some travelers asked about a previous report of bed bugs at the resort. No updated confirmation or denial of this issue was shared.

A guest who stayed in early June was very satisfied with the food: fish and squid served daily, shrimp every other day, and plenty of fresh fruit including watermelon and melon. The food was described as homemade-style and high quality.

The sea at Amarina Abu Soma is a highlight: sea turtles (up to two at once) and fish swim close to shore. Tidal variation is minimal and the water is deep enough to swim, unlike neighboring resorts where it's knee-deep.

Entertainment is well-rated, with the head animator singled out as excellent. Water slides are enjoyable. Staff service is attentive, and tipping leads to noticeably better attention.

The main downside is the alcohol quality, which is below average. Sea-view rooms are described as excellent. Overall cleanliness is high.

The guest mix is mostly European — Germans, Romanians, Poles — with a moderate number of Russian-speaking tourists. The atmosphere is described as safe and friendly.
