Are sea-view rooms in Egypt resort hotels noisy because of nearby discos, and which buildings are quieter for sleeping?

For a quieter stay, a guest recommends rooms whose numbers begin with “2,” particularly those on the left-hand side when facing the sea. Music plays near the dining area in the evening; noise-cancelling headphones can help.

Rooms 4116 and 4117 are beside the restaurant. The evening entertainment program is expected to be clearly audible there, so they may suit guests who are out in the evenings or do not need an early quiet bedtime for small children.

Guests in Building 7 report a constant hum from nearby equipment. It remains audible at night, although they describe it as not severe.

Around Palm, disco music can be very loud outdoors, seemingly as if it is playing on the hotel grounds, but it becomes acceptable once the room door is closed.

Building 41 was unsuitable for light sleepers: old windows and poor sound insulation let loud music from a café through, and the guest could not sleep through the night.

A guest staying in a room near the reception reports minimal noise in the room, no dust, and overall calm conditions. Occasional drilling/construction sounds can be heard in the corridor, but not throughout the day.

Regarding the evening entertainment: different dance groups perform daily with live music every night, but it wraps up by around 11pm-midnight and feels reasonable, not disruptive. Room soundproofing was rated excellent, guests slept well.

For room type '4': units facing the pool hear renovation noise during the day but are quiet in the evening with no audible activities. Type '4' rooms facing the garden hear music and events in the evening plus AC noise. Ground/first floors are generally noisier, while floor 3 and above are noticeably calmer.

The latest guest concern was about Buildings 5 and 6 with sea view: these are considered the most likely to get heavy disco noise, potentially making it hard to sleep until around 2 am.

In the Front building, guests reported that outside music was barely noticeable during the day: the sea and pool sounds were more prominent, and at night the room’s soundproofing helped a lot.

In Building 1, which is closer to the sea and faces toward Rixos, guests described the noise as very noticeable: the music can sound as if it is playing inside the hotel grounds, usually from about 5 pm to midnight.
