At Amphoras Beach, a mother cat with kittens was seen on the grounds; guests bought food for her at the shop across the road. This indicates cats are present at this hotel too, and guests often feed them.

The resort has many cats that sleep on ground-floor balcony chairs during the day — the same chairs guests use to dry clothes. If you'd rather not share your furniture with them, book a room above the ground floor.

Ground-floor rooms offer shaded terraces in the heat, but leaving the door open at night risks cats wandering in. Second-floor rooms are more secure in that regard, though warmer.

Cats are most active in the evenings — they roam around the club area and near the Sea Life reception, sometimes following guests and even performing tricks.
