TL;DR
Mild stomach issues are common during adjustment, especially for toddlers. Bring Enterofuril, pack baby food from home, and avoid seafood for young children.
A toddler (1 year 8 months) struggled to adapt to local food and water. Bringing porridge and jarred baby food from home saved the trip, along with Enterofuril. Older children (6 years) and adults had no issues.
The whole family experienced mild diarrhea, likely due to dietary adjustment rather than a specific hotel issue. The condition was not serious.
Mild indigestion was more likely caused by water than food — even bottled water can trigger a reaction. Children were given only meat and poultry (no seafood) and had no problems.
