Right when the pier opens, a crowd gathers there — to swim comfortably it's better to head further out or wait for the crowd to thin, otherwise it gets very packed.

During the day the resort feels empty despite being full — the large grounds spread guests out. Sun loungers by the pools are available even in peak season. Dinner is the exception: everyone converges at the same time, so expect a crowd.
Weekends bring noticeably more local Egyptian guests who travel in large, lively groups. Weekdays are calmer. Bars and food courts rarely have queues even when the hotel is full.
Key tip: don't head to the restaurant the moment it opens — the entire resort crowds the entrance. Arriving an hour after opening means no wait. There are plenty of sun loungers and pools, so finding a spot by the water is rarely an issue.
