How do you choose a quiet room in an Egypt resort when some buildings are under renovation?

For a quieter stay, consider Building 48: it was described as being away from the main activity. A second-floor room there was satisfactory enough that the guests decided not to request a change after check-in.

At the time of the report, renovation was still underway, but the noise was only occasional and not very loud. A floor was being finished in Building 2, while the main entrance and lobby remained under renovation; a temporary reception operated in the former conference room.

Another report: in beachfront Building 6 on the 2nd floor, sea views are great, but there's constant humming from dozens of AC condenser units on the roof near the door side. The 1st floor avoids this noise but lacks the sea view.

The newest report says a quiet room was in a building with no renovation next door. It was conveniently close to the pool, both reception areas, Happy Moment, the sports bar, Toucan, and the water park, and renovation in other blocks was not a major problem.

If you need a quiet stay, avoid rooms next to an unfinished building or technical equipment: one guest reported severe compressor noise that was audible even in the corridor and especially at night. Food was rated positively, and the beach required a bit of walking.

Another useful tip is to request a second-floor room, as the view was considered better and those buildings were described as quiet. Guests also said hot water was consistently available, while Building 7 had hot-water problems the previous year.
