Is Egypt in August too hot for families with kids?

A recent family report from late June to early July was positive: a couple stayed with a 2-year-old and said the child ate well at the hotel with no stomach issues. They found the setup family-friendly thanks to a separate shallow beach entry for children, plus multiple pools, water slides, and a playground. As a summer-season reference, they considered it suitable for traveling with a small child.

Remal Beach Hotel is considered excellent overall, but the grounds are compact and children's facilities were limited — at least as of March shortly after opening. The situation may have improved since then.

The August heat in Egypt is a real concern for families, especially with young children (ages 4 and up). Locals warn it can be intense — plan to spend midday hours at the hotel and limit outdoor time.

A family with an 8-year-old vacationed in May–June and had a positive experience: good food, friendly staff overall (one exception at reception), budget-friendly hotel with a great location — the child enjoyed it.
