TL;DR
At many Egypt resorts, differently named meal plans are effectively the same Ultra All-Inclusive package. Only pay extra after comparing the actual inclusions, especially drinks, à la carte restaurants, minibar refills and resort services.
An Ultra All-Inclusive label alone does not guarantee a better package: some resorts use different names for virtually identical inclusions. Ask the hotel for a written list of benefits rather than relying on the tariff name.
If two packages differ only in wording, the surcharge is usually not worthwhile. Compare whether imported alcohol, à la carte dining, 24-hour bars and minibar restocking are actually included.
Excursions sold by independent vendors in or near a resort may not be connected to official tour-operator guides. Before paying, ask for the company name, itinerary, insurance details and a booking confirmation.
