Is Pyramisa Beach Resort Sharm El Sheikh worth booking now after its past poor reviews?

A recent traveler view is that Pyramisa used to have a poor reputation but is now praised much more often. If you stayed years ago, check current photos of the rooms, beach and reef before booking again.

For repeat Sharm El Sheikh visitors, Sharks Bay remains a preferred area: choose a hotel in this bay if the sea, reef and established resort infrastructure matter most. Travelers staying elsewhere have still made a point of visiting the waters by the former Rojana Resort.

Historically, Pyramisa guests took a taxi to the then-operating Rojana Resort and asked the reception to arrange access through checkpoints. This does not confirm present-day access: ask your hotel whether entry to the former Rojana site is open and whether outside visitors are allowed.
