TL;DR
ROBB is especially suited to snorkelers, with a lively house reef and plenty of marine life close to shore. Food is varied and the beach is spacious, but mosquitoes can be bothersome in the evening and the property could use some renovation.
The main reason to choose ROBB is its house reef: guests can snorkel for long stretches in either direction along the shore. Reported sightings include moray eels, eagle rays, squid, Napoleon fish, triggerfish, stingrays and many reef fish.
The beach has plenty of sun loungers, spaced well apart, so finding an available spot is usually not a problem. It is a comfortable setup for relaxing between snorkelling sessions.
The hotel is reported to offer a broad food selection, including meat, fish, fresh vegetables, herbs, pastries and desserts; seafood is sometimes available but was rated less highly. Local beer and many cocktails were well received, although cocktail quality can depend on the bartender.
Bring mosquito repellent for evenings on the balcony, as mosquitoes can be active and bite. A mosquito spray can be requested for the room and was reported to work adequately.
