TL;DR
For weak swimmers, entering the Red Sea from a pontoon can be challenging because of deep water and currents. Swim only in calm conditions, stay close to fixed lifebuoys, and do not rely on inflatables.
A pontoon usually leads straight into deep water. Weak swimmers should check the sea conditions before entering, as a current can carry them away and make the return difficult.
The salty Red Sea provides good buoyancy, but it is not a substitute for swimming ability. For a rest in the water, use fixed lifebuoys, which are often placed about every 10 metres.
In a noticeable current, do not rely on a ring, buoyancy vest, noodle, or other inflatables: they drift more easily, and swimming back against the flow with them can be even harder.
