Is the renovation complete at V Grand Beach Resort – Sahl Hasheesh, and which facilities are already refurbished?

On 22 September 2026 a guest staying in building 33 wrote that neighboring building 34 was still being renovated and there was no end in sight. So as of late September, work on the grounds was still going on despite the announced completion of the upgrade.

On 17 September 2026 a guest on her third stay, who was at the hotel at the time, wrote that buildings 4, 5 and 6 had been renovated. She recommended a sea-view room, saying it is very quiet and peaceful there. But if the hotel is full, you may not get a room in these particular buildings.

One traveler mentioned that last year renovation work was going on in building 6. In late September and early October 2026 travelers asked whether construction work had finished, whether building 1 had been renovated and whether guests were currently staying in building 6. So when booking, it is best to check with the hotel in advance which building your room will be in and whether any work is going on nearby.

According to a note dated 8 September 2026, the hotel's major upgrade and rebranding have been completed. The property joined the V Hotels Egypt portfolio and from the 2026 winter season operates under the new name V Grand Beach Resort – Sahl Hasheesh.

According to the same note, guests can already use the fully renovated lobby and reception, as well as other modernized areas of the hotel.

According to the 8 September 2026 note, the Italian restaurant was due to open within the following week. Check with the hotel before your trip whether it has opened and what its hours are.
