Is this Egypt resort worth it? Honest traveler reviews

Meals include beef in different styles daily, chicken, fish, a different BBQ item each day, and seafood once a week (shrimp, squid). Pastries are tasty. Poolside ice cream was disappointing, but desserts in the main restaurant are good. Overall a solid beachfront hotel for the price.

Right by the hotel it's shallow, but you can walk further along the beach toward the neighboring Novotel, where there's a small reef with fish and no one stops you. On a late check-in around midnight due to a flight delay, a small but tasty snack was offered.

Overall a pleasant stay — good sea and food. The main downside is that no printed resort guide is provided at check-in, so it's unclear where facilities are and what their hours are.
