Is Tropitel hotel in Egypt worth it compared to other all-inclusive resorts?

Tropitel at the end of the promenade felt dull in May: weak alcohol selection and little entertainment. Not recommended if you want an active holiday.

Based on a 2021 stay: food is modest, alcohol quality noticeably lower than competitors, rooms are small, and entertainment is weak. However, the beach entry is excellent and there's a pleasant evening promenade. Perfect for a quiet retreat, not for party-seekers.

Gravity (November 2024): beautiful grounds and good animation, but food quality is lower than Seagull — meat was poor, grill portions were tiny. Seagull staff felt friendlier. Downsides include strong winds and a pontoon rather than beach sea entry.

Among similarly priced hotels, Ali Baba and Sunrise stand out as solid alternatives — one traveler's family with children stayed at Sunrise and was very satisfied.
