One recent specific report says that extending the room until 18:00 cost USD 100, but the wristband was still cut when the room was handed back. Until a 22:00 transfer, the guests had no included food or drinks, so a room extension did not guarantee continued all-inclusive access.

In recent traveler reports, after the standard 12:00 check-out, guests usually return the room key cards and towel cards, and the hotel checks for any extra charges. If the transfer is later, some hotels allow guests to keep the wristband and continue using the restaurant and facilities until departure.

If the wristband stays on after check-out, towels can become a separate issue: since towel cards are often handed in with the room, guests usually need to sort this out with reception to get temporary access or replacement cards for the beach before the transfer.

Early check-in before the standard 14:00 is sometimes possible, especially if you arrive around 11:00 after a morning flight. Travelers suggest emailing the hotel in advance or mentioning a repeat stay at reception, as returning guests may occasionally receive informal priority for earlier room access.

If early check-in or late check-out is essential, travelers mention a paid option of about USD 40 to extend the room. This is mainly considered when guests need more than just lunch access and want to keep the room, shower, and air conditioning until a late transfer.

Some travelers complain about hotels that remove wristbands exactly at 12:00. In those cases, even getting lunch before the flight can become difficult, and guests may be pushed either to pay for a room extension or lose all-inclusive access immediately after check-out.
