TL;DR
Hotels usually don't cut off your wristband or check it closely, you can eat and drink right up until departure, and on checkout day you can shower at the beach or pool shower — this is common practice at many Egyptian all-inclusive resorts.
On checkout day the wristband isn't cut off, and you can eat and drink right up until you actually leave the hotel. For a shower, use the beach shower since the room has already been handed back.
Staff barely check the wristbands — one family's kids (14 and 20) took theirs off on day one and walked around the resort freely afterward with no one asking about them.
On departure day, showered at the pool shower instead of the room. Beach towel cards don't need to be returned exactly at noon — you can hand them in the evening before leaving. Food and drinks are unlimited all day long.
Guests left and re-entered the resort without wristbands with almost no issue — over an 11-day stay, staff asked to see a wristband just once, when returning from a nearby shop.
After long beach sessions lounging by the water, a lot of sand builds up on your skin — plan for a proper rinse-off shower rather than a quick splash.
