What hotel renovations and new facilities should I expect at resorts in Egypt?

As of September, the fenced construction area was still unfinished. A pool and bar are planned; the work appeared to be at an early stage, possibly including foundations for an additional building.

As of late July, the buildings to the right of the old reception were being rebuilt, with internal walls and partitions replaced. They did not appear to be occupied, so ask the hotel to confirm the room block before booking.

By mid-July, newly built cabanas or relaxation areas were being finished, with tables and electrical sockets on both sides. They had only been built a few weeks earlier; no price was confirmed, so access may be chargeable.

In late June, major new structures were under construction, including another waterslide tower similar to the existing one. Sanitary fixtures had also been delivered, suggesting a new toilet or service building nearby.
