What household items should I pack for a hotel stay in Egypt (extension cord, iron, clothespins)?

TL;DR
Hotel rooms in Egypt usually have few outlets, so bring a power strip or extension cord for charging multiple devices. Irons with boards are available on request even in standard rooms, and clothespins are handy since in-room dryers/racks are often impractical.
A power strip or mini extension cord is genuinely useful — worth packing even for two people, since it takes up little space but lets you charge more than just your phone.
Outlets in the room are often not enough for multiple devices at once — many travelers bring a 3-way splitter to charge phones, a camera, and an e-reader simultaneously.
In-room drying racks do exist but aren't very practical — it's better to bring regular clothespins from home (cheap ones are sold on Wildberries in Russia, or any local store).
An iron with an ironing board can be requested at the hotel front desk — available not just for premium rooms but for standard rooms too.
