What is the beach like for families with small children in Egypt (sea entry, kids club)?

TL;DR
Sea entry is shallow and sandy - fine to walk in barefoot, water shoes help if kids complain about hot sand. The kids club is underwhelming (old toys, empty), but beach animators run activities for children. There's a stairless path down to the beach on the left side, unless pier construction changed it.
Facing the sea, there's a stairless path down to the beach on the left side - convenient with a stroller or carrying a baby. This was accurate a year ago but may have changed due to pier construction.
Visited the hotel's kids club in the morning with a 1-year-old - the toys were old and there were no other kids around. The club does have its own small pool though. On the beach, animators keep kids entertained with sand play (making 'pizza'), building sand shapes, and bubble activities.
Sea entry is shallow with a sandy bottom - walked in barefoot with the kid with no issues. There's a pontoon but didn't use it. Water shoes were only needed because the sand got hot, not because of rocks.
