What time should you arrive at the beach in Egypt to get a sunbed?

According to a recent report, more than half of the sunbeds are free at 6:00–6:30 AM. Even at 10:00 AM, it was possible to find three adjacent shaded sunbeds under umbrellas; the front row by the sea is the hardest to get.

At 7:00 AM, there may be no free sunbeds because guests reserve them early by leaving empty bottles and only return around 10–11 AM. If you want a particular sunbed, arrive earlier or be prepared to use the remaining spots.

One traveler noted that around 8:15 AM there were still plenty of free sunbeds, but after 9:00 AM you already have to actively search for one.

At 10:16 AM the left section of the beach was almost empty with no sense of crowding — so under the right circumstances free sunbeds can still be found later in the morning.

Clarification: even when sunbeds right by the sea are all taken by morning/daytime (none free by 10:00 AM), free sunbeds near the pools can often still be found.

Opening time clarification: the beach actually opens around 7:00 AM, not 8:00 AM as previously stated. You still can't see the sunrise from the resort grounds itself.

To guarantee shaded sunbeds under an umbrella (e.g. three of them), arrive at 6-7 AM. However, on the first day after arrival, three free sunbeds under an umbrella were found without any trouble even at 1:00 PM.

Arriving at the beach around 10:00 AM turned out to be too late — no free sunbeds remained, only a couple of worn-out ones near the building wall.

There's an alternative tactic: people who claim sunbeds at 7 AM usually leave the beach by 11 AM, freeing up spots for late risers who have a leisurely breakfast until 10:30 AM and then head to the beach around 11 AM.

Arriving at 8:30 AM on a busy day left almost no shaded or enclosed spots — only one remained at the far end of the beach. Crowds are growing, so even a 30-minute delay can cost you a good spot.

The beach opens at 8:00 AM, which prevents the usual sunbed-scramble chaos. Restaurant queues are a separate issue — waiting about an hour after opening helps avoid the rush.

At 8:00 AM the beach is nearly empty and sunbeds are available. By 3:00 PM it's packed and finding a free spot is nearly impossible.
