Which building and floor to choose in an Egyptian resort hotel: sea view, quiet location, water pressure tips

A guest reported that almost all rooms in building 1 have sea views. Pool-view rooms are in building 2 and at the rear of building 1.

In building 2, which houses reception, level B2 has no guest rooms. It provides an indoor route to the restaurant and an exit towards the beach; the spa and gym are also on this level.

Level B1 in building 2 contains Swim up rooms with private pools. The guest describes this level as effectively the ground floor.

On level G of building 2, reception is in the middle, with guest rooms on either side. These rooms have covered balconies.

The floor labelled 1 in building 2 has covered balconies. Some rooms on this floor also have a jacuzzi on the balcony.

On the floor labelled 2 in building 2, balconies are open to the sky rather than covered.

Pool- and sea-view rooms are still standard-category rooms, so the view itself does not guarantee a better bathroom. Rooms can differ by having a bathtub or shower and by whether mould is present, while the tiled finish is generally the same.

Economy Back View rooms face the fence side, with trees in front of it. The fence may still be partly visible, but this location offers shade and a quieter atmosphere.

If you're checked into a room with the wrong view (e.g., sea instead of pool or vice versa), you can ask reception to switch rooms — this is usually done without hassle.

In some buildings, the 1st floor typically faces the garden while the 2nd floor already has a sea view — but regardless of floor, these particular buildings are located closer to the sea overall.

For guests wanting to be closer to the water and in a quieter spot, buildings 5 or 6 are the recommended choice — they tend to be calmer with easier beach access.

Rooms without a sea or pool view may face either the garden or the road — it's worth clarifying at booking which view you'll actually get.

Water pressure issues have been reported in some rooms. It's advisable to check the pressure upon check-in and request a lower floor if needed, as pressure tends to be better there. For a sea view, confirm from which floor it becomes visible.
