Which is better for a family holiday in Egypt: Sentido or ROB?

A family traveling with children aged 16, 10, and 6 said they would return only to Sentido. They found it quieter, less crowded on the beach and in restaurants, and said the staff were faster and more attentive. They also noted newer-looking pools, an adults-only chill pool, and two extra restaurants. Downsides: it is farther to walk or drive, and none of the rooms have a sea view.

In one recent stay, a swim-up room was considered acceptable overall, but the bed linen felt worn and reception service and housekeeping were only average. Practical notes: the grounds are large with many stairs and elevation changes, beach loungers are usually available if you come early, and the main queues tend to be at the beach bar, the omelet station in the morning, and the pasta counter at lunch.

Another family review says evenings usually get breezy after about 9 pm, making it more comfortable to sit outside or at the bar. For families, the atmosphere was described as very welcoming, with waiters and pool staff interacting warmly with children and even remembering their names.
