That said, a non-main-building room can be more practical for divers, while very remote blocks such as building 34 were described as inconvenient.

The newest report says check-in was poorly organized: friends arriving together were split up, with one placed in building 34 and the other in building 18. Building 34 was described as very isolated, wristbands were only given after breakfast, and the guest had to keep pushing reception to get things done. Mosquitoes were also mentioned in the room.

A guest with a Superior Garden booking was initially disappointed not to be placed in the main building and even waited for a room change. After one day, they decided the location was actually better: balcony access was convenient for drying a wetsuit and grabbing fins, and the dive center was right next door.

Another guest confirmed that many arrivals were being assigned to the older building by default. The exception was a privilege-level booking: those guests were expected in advance, escorted to a newer block, and welcomed with fruit and champagne.
