Do you need the other parent's consent to travel to Egypt with a child as a single parent?

A divorced parent confirmed from personal experience that consent from the other parent isn't needed, as long as there's no official travel ban registered against the child.

Only one legal guardian's (mother's or father's) consent is required for the flight to Egypt, even if the child travels with a grandparent or other third-party escort.
