Hotel checkout time in Hurghada: when do you have to leave the room, and what happens with late flights or arrivals after midnight?

One traveler reports that when booking through Anex, their travel agent confirmed the room would remain available until departure even if the return flight is after midnight.

Late checkout in Hurghada is often charged separately. In one recent report, extending the room until 6:00 pm for a 23:55 flight was quoted at $80.

If a flight is postponed by only a few hours and departs in the early hours of the next day, travelers in the discussion note that the tour operator usually is not required to extend the room for free: the standard checkout time still applies unless a separate late checkout is arranged.

For arrivals after midnight, travelers usually check in advance whether dinner will be saved for them. In many cases, food is not guaranteed at night unless it is requested beforehand through the tour operator or hotel reception.

Under standard hotel rules in Hurghada, guests usually have to leave the room by 12:00 on departure day. If late checkout is not listed in the booking, 12:00 is the default time to expect.

If a booking is made for 6 nights, it normally remains valid until 12:00 on the departure date, even if the arrival time feels inconvenient. The arrival night is still counted as part of the stay, so a late flight or daytime check-in does not change the total number of paid nights.
