TL;DR
The resort sits on an isolated headland with striking desert scenery and a huge coral beach with free sunbeds, but strong waves/wind make swimming difficult and the food is mediocre.
Guests praised the atmosphere, grounds and entertainment; staff extended the room for free until departure. Price was around $140 for 6 nights for two during New Year 2025.
Because the hotel sits on a headland, waves and wind are constant, making it hard and risky to swim out to the reef — you can get slammed into the reef wall. It's calmer to swim in the shallow lagoon near shore. Food is plentiful but not tasty.
One traveler was surprised to learn the resort is literally in the desert — nothing around it, about 2 km to the main road.
The resort is on a headland, not a bay — open space, a narrow beach strip about 1.5 km long, a huge beach with sunbeds and canopies lined up with no extra charge for front-row spots (unlike some other resorts where the first row is booked separately for a fee).
From the restaurant and lobby bar the sea feels right underfoot, and the shoreline is entirely coral. Food is decent, but most rooms are somewhat worn/dated.
