Should you book a hotel room with a balcony in Hurghada, and how bad is the evening noise near the stage?

TL;DR
A balcony in a Hurghada hotel is useful not just for the view but also for drying clothes; without one, that becomes inconvenient. Evening entertainment noise can be heard near the stage, but in nearby buildings it drops a lot when the balcony door is closed.
One newly occupied room with a balcony was described as dated, but the air conditioner worked and the essentials were there. In practice, a balcony may matter more than a fresh renovation if you want a functional stay.
For evening noise, music was reported near the fish restaurant at the far end of Building 6. Even from Building 4, if the balcony faces the stage area, the sound becomes much more tolerable once the balcony door is shut.
A room without a balcony can be inconvenient for a beach holiday because there is basically nowhere to dry swimsuits and towels. A simple clothesline does not fully solve the problem if there is no balcony at all.
