TL;DR
Food and drink quality at Hurghada all-inclusive hotels is mixed: meat dishes are decent, but potatoes can be undercooked, seafood dishes disappoint, and wine is sometimes watered down.
Beer at the bar is served cold in clean glasses — no complaints. White and red wine are drinkable, rum and cola is fine too. At dinner, beef, chicken, and kofta are excellent, but potatoes came undercooked and the squid-and-crab dish was inedible. Avoid arriving at the very start of dinner service — queues are huge.
At the à la carte restaurant, the food arrived with an unpleasant smell, and the wine was diluted with water by roughly half. Getting a proper glass of wine at this hotel proved impossible throughout the entire stay.
After eating at the hotel restaurant, one guest joked about needing a strong drink just to disinfect. Overall impression of the food was poor.
