If you're traveling with a stroller, a second-floor room may be impractical: one family was placed on the 2nd floor of building 23 with a balcony facing the central walkway and ended up swapping rooms with relatives. You can, however, ask for your preferred floor at reception.

The initial room in building 10 had a broken bed, no balcony, and a view of utility structures — with a steep metal staircase that was unsafe for children. After firmly requesting a room change, they were moved to building 5, ground floor, with direct access to the evening gathering area. Noise was minimal and the experience was much better.

One traveler deliberately chose the main building over bungalows and had no regrets. She also avoided the ground floor in the main building for similar reasons as bungalows — likely humidity, insects, or lack of view.

The villa experience was very disappointing: dirty conditions, shared neighbors, and a communal bathroom in the hallway (while other rooms had en-suite bathrooms). Positives included a private pool and a large ground-floor lounge. Negatives were poor cleaning and infrequent minibar restocking. The family ultimately requested a standard room — received a twin room, with a cot available on request.
