Getting a taxi into Sahl Hasheesh is easy since drivers want access to tourists, but leaving the hotel is harder as there are fewer cars — you need to notify the hotel reception with your room number in advance, and sometimes cars are still turned away at the entrance.

Car-with-driver hire around Sahl Hasheesh, including hotel options, was reported at US$17–25 per hour. One traveler mentioned US$170 for eight days, but that appears unusually cheap, so confirm exactly what is included before booking.

For Hurghada's Sheraton area, travelers reported taking a taxi from outside the hotel gate for about EGP 150. A hotel-booked taxi is usually more expensive, but it can also arrange the return pickup.
