TL;DR
Jellyfish are more common near Tiran Island than at Ras Mohammed National Park. Pontoons can get overcrowded with local tour groups, so it's best to avoid pushing through crowded stairways and ignore any friction.
If someone whistles or curses in Arabic at you, it's best to just ignore it rather than engage.
Pontoons can get very crowded: local tour groups occupy all the floats and life vests and block the ladders, making it hard to get in or out of the water. There have been cases of scratches and even a black eye from the crush.
Jellyfish are more frequently spotted near Tiran Island, less often at Ras Mohammed, though there's no guarantee of avoiding them at either spot.
