Can you walk between different hotel beaches in Sharm El Sheikh, and how does the beach shuttle work?

TL;DR
Some hotel beaches share a walkable promenade and allow guests from neighboring resorts through (e.g. Rehana Sharm toward Baron Resort area), but gated properties like Albatros Beach Resort usually restrict outside guests. The beach shuttle typically runs only from the beach entrance gate to the beach itself, not from the hotel building.
In many resorts the shuttle only runs the short stretch from the beach entrance gate to the beach itself — guests usually need to walk from their room to the gate on their own.
From the Rehana Sharm beach (locally called 'Remal') you can walk along the promenade toward the Baron beaches; along the way you'll pass the Sindbad pontoon where dive and snorkeling boats dock.
To reach the opposite side of the bay it's easier to take a taxi or a hotel transfer — walking through the Albatros Beach Resort grounds usually isn't allowed since it's a gated guests-only beach.
Access between neighboring beaches often depends on the security guards at the entrance: on some stretches showing your own resort wristband is enough, on others outsiders aren't allowed at all — it's best to check with security on-site before walking through.
