TL;DR
Club-level stays are quieter and more private (separate lounge, beach, pool) but lack nightlife/animation. Hotels like Alcazar and Jaz Elite Palace (former Iberotel) are praised for the best sea entry, while Barcelo's entry is small.
The club towel system confuses many guests: staff provide towels on the club's own beach, but if you leave the club area (public beach or excursion), you need to bring your own towel — there's no separate distribution outside the club zone.
Many travelers prefer the club format: quieter, calmer, with a private lounge, separate beach and pool. If you want animation and nightlife, the club setup isn't for you.
The Alcazar hotel is praised for room quality: good mattresses, shower gels/shampoos, pillows, terraces/balconies, sunbeds and a clean beach — many guests return there. Barcelo impressed less: small sea entry, though acceptable given the number of guests.
Jaz Elite Palace (former Iberotel) is called one of the best for beach quality in this price range: a gentle, long sea entry, a higher hotel class than Barcelo, comparable in beach quality to Maritim.
