TL;DR
Buffet food is plentiful but can be bland or oily — salt is provided if needed. Among à la carte options, the Italian restaurant (pizza, seafood pasta, lamb) is the best, Mexican is good, Oriental is mediocre.
If your hotel offers several à la carte restaurants, the Italian one is the best pick — great pizza, pasta with large mussels and king prawns, huge portion of lamb on the bone. Mexican was also good; Oriental was just so-so.
The buffet has plenty of variety (several types of meat, fish, grilled vegetables), but many guests find dishes bland or too oily — salt is always available on the tables to adjust to taste.
Every other day the buffet features grilled partridge and quail, plus stuffed dishes — reportedly one of the tastiest options on the menu.
Among desserts, pastries with nuts, almonds, and pistachios get the best reviews — noticeably tastier than the regular cakes, which some found not sweet enough.
Seafood at the buffet (mussels, fried crab) is available, but quality can be inconsistent — crab is sometimes overcooked.
