Best neighborhood to stay in Batumi — close to beach and nightlife?

For families with kids who prefer a sandy beach over pebbles, Kobuleti and Shekvetili are worth considering — they were preferred over Batumi and Gonio, which have rocky beaches.

For a beach holiday, avoid renting on Angisa Street, which was not recommended for a comfortable stay. The Old Town was suggested instead.
