Easiest is to open a TBC Bank card and transfer money onto it, though cash top-ups are capped at 2000 GEL with a fee after that. Cash also works fine, but exchange offices often refuse old-design US dollar bills.
TBC card cash top-ups are capped at 2000 GEL, after which a fee applies to the whole amount. If you can transfer money instantly from another card, TBC may not add much value.
