How can I transfer money from a foreign bank to a TBC Bank card in Batumi, Georgia?

In early August 2026 a sender reported that a dollar transfer from Ozon Bank to TBC cost about 1.5% in fees, and the dollars were converted to lari on the card at roughly 2.57. Rates and fees change, so check them in the app before sending.

Experience with other Georgian banks was worse. In late July 2026 one traveler said money sent from Ozon via the Russian fast-payment system and MultiTransfer to Credo Bank "left and disappeared". Another tried MultiTransfer from Ozon to a Credo card around the same time and was still waiting for the funds; she had previously used the Korona money transfer service. In August 2026 another sent money via MultiTransfer to a rouble account at TBC: Ozon showed the transfer as successful, but the money never reached the TBC account. The route that worked for others used a TBC card and US dollars, not a rouble account.
