How hard is it to find parking in Batumi and what does it cost?

Parking in central Batumi is very tight: narrow streets, hilly terrain, dense construction. The city's annual permit costs 50 lari plus hourly zonal fees — rates are posted on street signs, paid via a phone app. City traffic is heavy.

Parking is easier near the Metro City mall, with a daily rate of about 20 lari, though it's fairly far from the Sails/Boulevard beach area.

If you're heading from Gonio into Batumi, it's easy to get there without worrying about parking by taking an economy taxi for about 16 lari on average. Buses run too, but not frequently and are often crowded.
