Is the sea water clear or murky in Batumi, Georgia?

Besides Sarpi, Green Cape and some wild beaches between the Botanical Garden and Chakvi are suggested for cleaner water.

At Kobuleti (Kapraveti area) the beach isn't great either: the sand gets very hot in the sun, and the water is clear enough to see various sea creatures on the bottom.

The clearest sea water near Batumi is at Gonio, Kvariati, and Sarpi villages (closer to the Turkish border).

If you want to avoid large rocks, the children's beach near the Alphabet Tower has smaller pebbles, making it more comfortable to enter the water.

The only notably different beaches in the region are the sandy ones at Shekvetili and Ureki, but the water there is also not particularly clear.
