TL;DR
At Boni market buy draft wine from an actual winery stand (some in the Old Batumi area), not just whatever's offered as a free sample from temporary stalls; supermarkets are safer than buying from random street sellers.
At Boni market, stick to permanent stalls inside the market itself rather than sellers just outside — and keep in mind the wine you taste as a sample may not match what ends up in your bottle. It's more reliable to buy draft wine directly from a winery-brand shop, some of which are in the Old Batumi area.
For alcohol in general, buying at a supermarket is safer than from unknown street sellers — the risk of getting a fake is much lower.
If you need a regular grocery and household market (not wine-focused), look for the Agrarian market in Batumi — it's easy to find on Yandex and Google Maps by that name, and sells produce, household goods, and some clothing.
