TL;DR
If you actually live in Georgia and travel in/out, a tourist policy from your home country won't work — you need a local insurance for foreigners, e.g. Prime Insurance at 100 GEL for 6 months or 200 GEL for a year.
If you already have a multi-country policy (e.g. issued via your bank for another country within valid dates), Georgia is often already covered — you can issue it quickly right in the banking app.
T-Bank's Travel Insurance Policy hasn't caused issues for travelers to Georgia so far — no complaints reported in the community.
Standard tourist insurance (like AlfaStrakhovanie) only works for short vacations in Georgia and should be bought in your home country — it's a different product from insurance for foreign residents.
For those living in Georgia and planning trips abroad with return, a local foreigner insurance policy is needed — example: Prime Insurance, 100 GEL for 6 months or 200 GEL for a year, coverage details on their website.
