TL;DR
Utility outages do happen in Tbilisi, according to residents writing in August and October 2026. One person saw two power cuts during three weeks in the city, a resident lost gas in early August, and in early October there was a citywide water shutdown.
In early October 2026 residents wrote about a citywide water shutdown. One resident had no hot water for a second day even though their street was missing from the outage list on the GWP water utility website, and asked whether there is a bot that shows restoration times by street.
A resident reported in October 2026 that after the citywide water shutdown their E.C.A. GP24 gas boiler failed: error F7, pressure dropped from 0.4 to 0.3 bar, no hot water for a second day and water leaking from the bottom of the unit. They were looking for a boiler repair technician in Tbilisi.
In early August 2026 a person who had been in Tbilisi for three weeks wrote that the electricity had been cut for the second time during that period and asked whether this happens often. This is one resident's experience, not citywide data.
On 1 August 2026 a Tbilisi resident reported that their gas supply had stopped and worried the outage might drag on, as happened with the electricity about a week earlier.
