Which Georgian SIM card works for Google SMS verification in Tbilisi?

TL;DR

Google verification codes may not work with Silknet numbers. Travelers suggest trying a Cellfie SIM or eSIM, and waiting a few days before retrying if too many codes have been requested.

For Google account verification, use a Cellfie SIM rather than Silknet. A Cellfie eSIM can be ordered through the operator’s website, avoiding a visit to a Tbilisi shop.

If Google codes stop arriving after several attempts, pause and try verification again in a couple of days; the service may temporarily limit SMS requests.

Google may reject a Silknet number for SMS verification, reporting that the carrier does not support verification texts or calls. A Magti number was suggested as another option, though results can vary.
