A SIM registered to an Indian resident or to a foreigner with Aadhaar is not subject to the tourist 90-day limit. However, the registered owner remains in control and can block it; one person can register no more than seven SIMs.

Even if you top up with a 365-day plan right after purchase, the SIM will still be deactivated after 90 days. This is an operator-level restriction that cannot be bypassed.
