TL;DR
Generally warm and sunny in June, but a cool breeze can make beach time and evenings feel chilly depending on your sensitivity to temperature.
At Ayodya beach in mid-June the weather was great — strong sun from morning to late afternoon, comfortable swimming in the ocean. One traveler spent the whole day on the beach and got a slight sunburn.
Even heat-lovers may be surprised: late May through early June was fine, but by mid-June evenings on a scooter felt cold enough to need a hot shower to warm up. On the beach during peak sun hours, the sand stayed cool and a piercing breeze made it hard to get warm.
Comfort in the water is very personal. Sea temperatures between +27°C and +32°C are considered ideal by most swimmers; at +25°C some people already find it too cold to swim.
