Which areas of Bali have the least vendor harassment for a relaxed holiday?

Sanur is a calm, low-key beach town with a roughly 5km boardwalk lined with cafes and restaurants. Vendors are present but accept a polite refusal without pressure. The main roads are largely free of hawkers.

Nusa Dua offers a relaxed atmosphere with quality hotels and a compact dining area — no sense of being hassled at all. Sanur also works well as a day trip. Kuta is best avoided as vendors there are noticeably more aggressive.

Seminyak is a more upscale area with good restaurants, beach bars, and sunset spots. Staying on a dead-end street helps avoid traffic noise. Beach and restaurant strips are about a 4-minute walk from central villas.

North Bali — specifically Amed and Candidasa — are very quiet and authentic, with beachfront accommodation and snorkeling directly off the beach. Ideal for completely escaping the tourist crowds.

Villa Ibiza in North Bali is a honeymoon-worthy option offering complete peace and quiet, well away from busy tourist areas.

Ubud is worth a few days for its charm but is busy and has a strong backpacker vibe. Not ideal for a fully relaxed stay, but good for cultural day trips.
