Do you need to book hotels for every night of your trip to get the Seychelles Travel Authorization (visa)?

You don't have to book far in advance — many travelers search for and book hotels only after landing, sometimes getting cheaper last-minute deals. The only required documents are hotel bookings and the Travel Authorization.

Accommodation must be listed for every single day of the trip, no exceptions. On arrival at Mahé airport, border officers asked specifically day-by-day where the traveler would be staying, even though the information was already uploaded in the application.

You can pre-order and pay for a local SIM card during the Travel Authorization application process, so you skip waiting in line for one after landing.

The entry permit payment process was simplified: applicants can now select the Pay Upon Arrival option in the form and pay the fee in cash at Mahé airport upon arrival, instead of paying online in advance.
