Where is the best sea and beach in Thailand?

From Pattaya, take a ferry to the nearby islands for a true beach experience — white sand, turquoise water, and hotels right on the shore. Pattaya itself has beautiful sunsets but the beach water is murky.

Chiang Mai is great for cultural tourism. For beaches, head to the islands. Pattaya works well as a transit hub but the sea quality there is disappointing.
