TL;DR
Dolmus minibuses to Manavgat depart from the dolmus station near Vaikiki mall, not from the main bus terminal (otogar). Take dolmus #20 to Manavgat for around 200 lira.
You can flag down the bus to Manavgat right from the roadside. In Manavgat there's a large shopping mall, Novo Mall, which serves as a useful landmark. On the way you can get off near Vaikiki, cross the road, and walk around ancient Side.
Buses near the hotel (including #20 and #30) sometimes run without a visible number — in that case just tell the driver your destination or show it on a map (e.g. 'Vaikiki near Lonisera'). Payment is usually made when you get off the bus.
The dolmus station is located near the Vaikiki shopping center, where the Friday market is held. This is not the main otogar (bus terminal) — direct dolmuses to Manavgat do not run from there. Destinations are written on the front of each dolmus; look for 'Manavgat'.
Dolmus #20 runs to Manavgat, stopping at all intermediate stops along the route and terminating at the Manavgat bus station. The fare is approximately 200 lira.
If staying at a hotel in the Alanya area, there are usually bus stops nearby. Buses 20 and 30 are request stops — wave your hand to flag them down, as they signal when approaching.
